Pre Requisite
Skills 1 + Facilitated Stretching, for year 2 therapists and up
Skills Review 2 integrates a furthering of the palpation routine, bodymapping and the 7 Protocols alongside the use
of Facilitated Stretching. The theme of the day is ‘Assess – Treat – Reassess” and it is the perfect opportunity to have
some extra time with one another dogs to develop palpation skills and orthopaedic testing utilising the stretch
positions and directions. A perfect reviser to help your confidence and your skills.
You will also be learning how to do perform a skeletal alignment assessment of the vertebrae and pelvis so you have
some further skills to help to assess for misalignments and subluxations which can help to inform you if you client
would benefit from some sessions with a Mctimoney Chiropractor or Osteopath. Knowing when we can help is just
as useful as knowing we cant help so that the canine client receives the treatment they need on their path to
wellness. (please note I do not teach adjustments, this is the job of the chiropractor, I teach the assessment)
